Access the Arts: About Us

Access the Arts was established in 2018 and certified by the State of Ohio as a non-profit. It is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our primary purpose is to host events that unite the community and offer a platform for those who would like to share their talents to inspire others in music, all arts and entertainment.  We strive to provide an exposure to the arts and interactive opportunities for the elderly, the disabled and the underprivileged, and to promote appreciation for and education in the fine and performing arts for people of all ages. We are funded by grants, corporate donations and contributions from individuals.  If you would like to support our mission, please click the Donation tab above.

In 2019 we will be providing music therapy for the elderly, offering fine and performing arts assemblies for area schools, and hosting several hands-on education and interactive concerts and dances in our community that are inclusive of all who want to participate.  Arts and entertainment helps us to celebrate differences, encourage creativity, and unite us with a common inspiration.

Many exciting events are coming to Sharon Center this summer!  From the Music in the Circle summer concert series to Family Movie Night to our music and arts festival, Sharon Showcase, our gazebo will be buzzing with free performances and opportunities to interact with the arts and your neighbors in the community!  Stay tuned for more education, arts and entertainment.
