Access the Arts gets its funding from grants, corporate sponsorships, and private donations. Thank you to our generous supporters: The Medina County Arts Council, The Hillier Family Foundation, GPD Employee Foundation and the Ohio Arts Council. We appreciate our local businesses who have donated their time and money to be Sponsors of the Arts: Brush Tips Studio, Blue Heron Brewery and Event Center, Roots Yoga and Barre, Marigold Wellness Collective, Ruhlin, Holland and Muirden Attorneys, BKO Distillery and Green Mountain Horse and Tack.
Access the Arts was established in 2018 and certified by the State of Ohio as a non-profit. It is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our primary purpose is to provide opportunities that unite the community and offer a platform for those who would like to share their talents to inspire others in all art forms. We strive to provide an exposure to the arts and interactive opportunities for the elderly, the disabled and the underprivileged, and to promote appreciation for and education in the fine and performing arts for people of all ages. We are funded by grants, corporate donations and contributions from individuals. If you would like to support our mission, please click the Donation tab above.
We are providing music and art therapy for the youth at the Medina County Juvenile Detention Center. We also provide music and art lessons to afterschool students at the Lodi Family Center, as well as arts projects for the Medina County Home and the ACP Day Center. We host and fund several hands-on educational and interactive concerts in our community that are inclusive of all who want to participate. The arts help us to celebrate differences, encourage creativity, and unite us with a common inspiration.
Many exciting events are coming to Sharon Center this summer! From the Music in the Circle summer concert series to the Sharon Showcase to Yoga in the Circle, our gazebo will be buzzing with opportunities to interact with the arts and your neighbors in the community! Stay tuned for more education, arts and entertainment.
Music in the Circle, Yoga in the Circle, and the Sharon Showcase are all free arts events in Sharon Township.
